Characteristics and Applications

U-CAT 18X is a urethane Nulite and a block isocyanate dissociation catalyst.
In epoxy, it is a non-halogen type curing accelerator suitable for transparent applications.

Regarding the application

It is used as a nurate catalyst for electric wire coating paints and flame-retardant foams using phenol block isocyanate. It can also be used as an epoxy curing accelerator, making it suitable for transparent applications such as LED encapsulants where coloring is a concern.

About the precipitation of crystalline components in winter

Crystal components may precipitate. Warm in warm water of 60 °C or less or in a greenhouse and mix evenly before use.
