Characteristics and Applications

U-CAT 1102 is a latent heat base generator.
It is a 2-ethylhexanoate salt of DBN, which is active at around 100℃, and is a general-purpose grade of DBN salt.

Regarding the application

We have a proven track record in urethane catalysts and epoxy curing accelerators.
About latent heat catalysts

DBN dissociates at about 100 °C and exhibits catalytic activity.
About catalysts

Can be used as a tin-free catalyst for urethane catalysts.
Differences from U-CAT SA102 (DBU salt)

You can have a longer pot life than U-CAT SA102. In addition, DBU salt and DBN salt can be used properly depending on the compatibility with the customer's resin system.
