1966年 Established as “San-Abbott,” a joint venture between Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. and Abbott USA.
1970年 Developed the U-CAT SA Series (DBU salts). Market development began for the products as urethane catalysts and epoxy curing accelerators.
1986年 Overseas parent company changes to Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., and our company name was altered to San-Apro.
1998年 Investigations began regarding technologies and markets for new products to replace DBU. Photo acid generator developed.
2003年 The CPI-100P and 101A photo acid generators (for photocationic polymerization initiations) were introduced to the market. Efforts began to introduce these products to the can paint and optical modeling resin markets.
2007年 The high-activity non-Sb CPI-200K product was developed and efforts began to introduce it into the marketplace.
2010年 The highly i-line sensitive CPI-300 series was developed and entered the electronic materials market.
2016年 The company celebrated its 50th anniversary. Sales of photo acid generators steadily increase, and the business progresses in its transition.
2017年 Parent company changed to Evonik Industries AG.
